This Privacy Policy applies to the CiHR Talent platform at talent.careersinhr.com.au. CiHR Talent is operated by HeXTalent within the broader Careers in HR ecosystem. HeXTalent remains the legal operator behind the platform where operational, privacy, and contractual responsibilities apply.

What we may collect

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect information such as your name, email address, account login details, profile image, work history, career preferences, motivation, role direction, positioning notes, uploaded CVs or LinkedIn PDFs, and any other details you choose to provide while building out your career story.

We may also collect platform activity data such as page visits, device or browser information, error logs, registration status, profile completion activity, and interactions with platform features such as aligned opportunities, support tools, or visibility settings.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • support your profile, career story, and positioning journey

How visibility and sharing work

CiHR Talent is not designed as a public candidate marketplace. Your information is not intended to be openly listed or made broadly searchable to the public.

Where the platform includes visibility controls, request-based interactions, or future introduction support, we aim to handle that on a selective and controlled basis rather than through blanket public exposure. If a profile, document, or candidate story is ever shared more directly in a professional context, that is intended to happen with care, relevance, and platform judgment rather than as an open listing model.

Uploaded files and supporting documents

If you upload a CV, LinkedIn PDF, or other supporting files, those documents may be stored so they can support your profile-building experience and other related platform features. Some uploaded materials may become relevant later if the platform supports more selective introductions or richer representation layers, but they are not treated as public documents by default.

Third-party services

CiHR Talent relies on third-party services to operate, host, analyse, and improve the platform. These may include hosting providers, storage providers, authentication tools, analytics tools, email services, CMS infrastructure, and other technical vendors. Those providers may process personal information on our behalf to the extent reasonably required to deliver the service.

Storage, security, and retention
